With Duchess Meghan of Sussex and Duchess Kate of Cambridge in the Royal Box for Saturday’s women’s final at Wimbledon, it was already a star-studded affair on Centre Court.
Tiger Woods, Lewis Hamilton and Anna Wintour were in Serena Williams’ box for championship day, giving the seven-time Wimbledon champ an A-list cheering squad.
Woods has attended the U.S. Open in previous years, taking in Rafael Nadal’s matches. With the British Open being played next week at Carnoustie in Scotland, he took in a little tennis before the third major of the season.
Williams and Angelique Kerber had to wait to play Saturday until after the men’s semifinal between Novak Djokovic and Nadal was completed. The men’s semifinal was postponed Friday night because of the tournament’s curfew rule.
The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself. – Proverbs 11:25
