“Wonder Woman” fans, we now have our first look at Kristen Wiig in the superhero sequel.
Director Patty Jenkins shared a photo of Wiig surrounded by taxidermy in what appears to be a natural history museum. We’re going to take a wild guess and assume that Wiig’s character, called Barbara Minerva, is looking at a cheetah.
Cheetah is the name of the villain’s alter ego who possesses superhuman strength and agility.
The last time we saw a superhero character in a museum, we were watching “Black Panther” with Michael B. Jordan’s character Erik Killmonger killing security guards and stealing headpieces. We wonder what Cheetah is up to here, but will have to wait until November 2019 to find out– that’s when “Wonder Woman 1984” gets to theaters.
Previously, Jenkins shared photos of Gal Gadot and Chris Pine, who are back to play the title hero and Steve Trevor, respectively.
