Thinking about a cruise to Hawaii? Our latest Cruise Ship Tour, in the carousel above, offers a deck-by-deck look at an icon of Hawaii cruising, Norwegian Cruise Line’s 2,186-passenger Pride of America

Based in Honolulu for the past 13 years, Pride of America is the only cruise ship that operates in the Hawaiian Islands year-round and the most-sailed vessel in the market. It departs Honolulu every Saturday on seven-night voyages to the islands of Maui, Hawaii and Kauai that feature more 100 hours in Hawaiian ports.

As can be seen in the tour, Pride of America is filled with a wide range of eateries, bars and showrooms designed to appeal to a broad audience. In keeping with its name, many of the venues feature an “America” theme.

Unlike most cruise ships operated by major lines, Pride of America is flagged in the United States and sails with a mostly-American crew — two of the requirements for operating all-Hawaii sailings. Christened in 2005, it was the first new U.S.-flagged cruise ship built for a major line in nearly 50 years.

The Pride of America photo tour is part of our ongoing series of cruise ship galleries. For an inside look at dozens of other passenger vessels sailing the world’s oceans and rivers, click on the links below:
